Help us provide quality programs for the youth in our community...

We are offering a 4 Week Winter Conditioning Clinic again this winter!
We are thrilled to announce winter conditioning details! Thank you all for your patience as we organized this for our athletes. Our first session will be as follows:
  • 4 weeks, starting Friday 1/25, from 3:30-4:30pm (1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15)
  • Location: inside at the YMCA (we will be using the racquetball court)
  • Registration will cost $20 per athlete
  • Practices will be led by Coach Megan
We are very lucky to have use of indoor space at the Y, but that also means we may have to cap the number of athletes in this first session to fit the space we have. Please register soon if you intend to join us this session. The focus for this first clinic will be to improve strength, speed, and agility: all skills that are critical for every type of track & field athlete (including distance runners!). Our goal is to help athletes become stronger, improve form, and prevent injury, all while having fun of course!
Register online (emeraldvalleytrackclub.org) if you are interested, and please reach out with any questions.

We are offering two season options for the 2018 Cross Country Season.

  1. Full Season: 9/10-11/18/18 ($180.00)
  2. Short Season: 10/15-11/18/18 ($115.00)

The short season was created to accommodate the cross country program schedules for various area Middle Schools, and athletes that are participating in other sports. Come extend your season with us and participate in the Junior Olympic Championship Meets!

EVTC participates in several meets throughout the season. Athletes are not required to compete, but it is strongly encouraged. A calendar of possible meets can be found on our Athletic.net team page. We will let you know as soon as possible what meets we will be participating in as a team, the registration process, and the associated fees (typically $5-$10).

Our season runs through November 18th, which is the day after the USATF Region 13 Junior Olympic Championship Meet. Some of our athletes competing in the Regional Meet will qualify for the National Junior Olympic Meet. The National Meet takes place December 8th, in Reno, NV. We will offer a post-season for qualifying athletes that are planning on attending the meet. There will be a $50 fee to help cover post-season coaching and other potential costs associated with supporting participation at Nationals.

Scholarships are available for those in need. Application requirements are outlined in the registration process.

Emerald Valley Track Club (EVTC) is an independent, non-profit 401c3, youth based sports organization that is sanctioned by the USATF. The goal of this club is to encourage and help young people to develop physically, emotionally, and socially through their involvement in track & field and cross country. We also strive to introduce youth to competition and help them to improve skills in these sports, and build confidence for life.
