The Olympic Trials Are Here!

Kids Clinics and All Comers Meets!

EVTC will be involved with various community programs during this time.  We will have several of our kids14-18 working at the Starting Block a high-energy, dynamic space for youth, featuring fun and interactive games and events that have been held at UO track meets for the past two years. An expanded version with Dance Dance Revolution, hurdles, starting blocks, long jump pit, agility drills, high jump and much more will be featured form June 27^th – July 6^th .  Your kids may attend this area even if you don’t have tickets for the trials.   The Starting Block will be located at 15^th and Agate right out side of Hayward Field.

Festival gates open at 4:00 p.m.
All participants will be asked to report to the NE corner or the track (Powell Plaza) to enter to get their free registration stickers and then enter the track at the designated time for their age and race.

On July 1st during the KEZI all comers meet there will be track and field clinic sponsored by Hershey’s and Nike going on at the same time. This clinic will be an open style “meaning come when you please”.   There are 6 events total; EVTC will be running the blocks and hurdles, 2 Rivers will hosting the jumps and TCTC will be doing the throws.  The best part of the all comers and the clinic is that Carl Lewis, Bruce Jenner and Rafer Johnson will be part of both. There will be a autograph session toward the end of the all comers/clinic the start time is 4 p.m. and the projected end time will be 7-8p.m.

We encourage kids wear EVTC singlets or t-shirts during the all comers meet.  Below is a meet schedule for the meets.
