2010 Cross Country Season Begins
Tuesday, September 7
WHEN: Practice is Monday – Thursday, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
WHERE: South Eugene High School Track
24th and Amazon Parkway
WHO: Youth, age 7-18, of any ability who want to
participate in track & field, just for fun or
competitively.
The season continues up until the National meet in December. It is not a problem for athletes who divide their time between cross-country and another activities. Emerald Valley Track Club (EVTC) is an independent, non-profit, youth based spsorts organization that is sanctioned by the USATF and is in partnership with the Eugene YMCA. The goal of this club is to encourage and help young people to develope physically, emotionally and socially through their involvement in track & field and cross-county.
